A review of the provisions and implications of the Welfare Reform Act 2012. A full day training course, with lunch provided
The Welfare Reform Act 2012 has introduced some of the most significant changes to the welfare benefits sytem in decades. These changes are being introduced over the next few years but April - October 2013 will see a large number of new provisions.
This Welfare Reform Training Course looks at the various provisions of the Act, including a closer look at Universal Credit, Personal Independance Payments, the benefit cap and 'bedroom tax'.
Recommended for non-advice sector professionals whose service users will be affected by the changes discussed. A basic understanding of the current benefit system would be helpful for participants to get the most from this session.
