The Welfare Reform Act 2012 has introduced some of the most significant changes to the welfare benefits sytem in decades. This Welfare Reform Training Course looks at the various provisions of the Act, including a closer look at Universal Credit, Personal Independance Payments, the benefit cap and 'bedroom tax' as these new benefits and provisdions take effect.
Recommended for non-advice sector professionals whose service users will be affected by the changes discussed. A basic understanding of the current benefit system would be helpful for participants to get the most from this session.
