An intermediate level training course covering the particular rules relating to entitlement to benefits for EU nationals
This is a half-day training course focussing on the particular rules relating to benefit entitlement for migrants from other EU member states. We review the 'right to reside' rules and take a close look at the latest caselaw developments and recent changes to law on this subject, with a focus on the new GPoW requirements and the impact on jobseeking claimants.
Participants will need to have a good basic understanding of the benefit system and particularly the rules for contributory and means tested benefits to get the most from this course.
This training course will be run by one of our very experienced trainers, who also will have a practical working knowledge of the subject from many years experience working as a benefit caseworker.
