A beginner level course to introduce non-advice workers to the basics of welfare benefits
A one day course for professionals who are likely to come across benefit issues as part of their working day. The course aims to provide a good grounding of the basics of the welfare benefits system and insight into the most common problems. No prior knowledge of welfare benefits is needed for this training!
This course covers general information about means-tested, non-means tested and contributory benefits; a guide to who's who and information about the claims and disputes processes before going on to cover some of the most common benefits in more detail.
Our training is devised and delivered by specialist benefit workers, who are also all excellant trainers. There is always plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout the day.
This course can also be delivered 'in-house' for your organisation and can be tailored to suit your interests and needs. Please contact us for more information.
There are currently no dates available to book. If you would like to enquire about forthcoming coming dates, or to register interest in buying this training in-house, please contact us.
